I don't really believe in ghosts, but the circumstances were so odd I have always been amused at the "ghost" I had when I lived in London with two other schoolmates. We had a lamp that fell (rather violently) off a fireplace ledge - not straight down, but sideways. In front of all 3 of us. No one was near a cord. We shrugged it off and put the lamp back. A week later, it happened again. This time we left the lamp on the floor next to the fireplace.
One week later, I was watching tv, and from behind me, I heard a tremendous crash - a heavy mirror that had been bolted into the wall had fallen out, fallen to the floor, and cut the lamp in two. (The mirror was fine, btw!)
We never did know what our "ghost" had against that lamp!
