just curious. One time, years ago when i used to drink, i got drunk on the job - no one ever said if they could tell. was wondering how many had a similar experience.

yeah, you're right, the spirit of the question was "sloppy drunk", ----faced, hammered, etc...in other words, was it waaaay beyond the old "couple of drinks".

Any more than one drink is over the legal limit for driving... but I wouldn't call that "drunk" if you don't plan to be driving.
