Hello Meiguoren, well I guess that I am in a depression then (darn it)! It really sucks that one can get two type of depressions either or both financial and emotional (thank goodness I only have financial). :)
This same question was asked in 1930, 1931, 1932........all the way into 1940. Most people back then, couldn't fathom that such a great nation like America couldn't figure out how to get back on the right track. Guess what most historians agree, that put us back?

Obama is forging ahead with more bail out plans, more taxation, and more stimulus spending. We have not bottomed out yet.
And the alternative is of course letting the businesses (and therefore the country) go bankrupt.
