Some websites or web sites (both are correct) do provide spell checking. Acutually, using a spell checker improves my spelling because it points out my errors and tells me how to spell the word correctly.

I don't believe many websites provide spell checkers but a good web browser does, so everyone should just upgrade to firefox or camino. (as waugs said)

p.s. this question should be just for the ask500people "community".

According to the Results by Voter Type for each question, it appears that the vast majority of votes come from independent rather than community members. So it seems to me they should have some input.

Folks learn better by their mistake. On the other hand tink most people are smart enought to figure it out. Not a big thing.

You are right. Firefox fixes that problem. My first language is EspaƱol and it helps a great deal for me.

I use that Google tool bar to spell check. Unfortunately, the grammer is my own. So I answer no.

I use it too for the same.

I rely on me web browser!

Uh oh, Mags, it ain't workin' tonight. Check your "grammer." LOLOL

No, if you want a spell checker use a word processor document as a notepad then cut and paste the results. in the dialog window on this site.

sureeeee just make it complicated.

Firefox has a spell as you go, but on Safari, besides someone mispelling something isn't a problem in a forum or on a message board. If there is a problem just edit.

Using FireFox is easier.

Most of my typos are red lined; however, sometimes I unintentionally use a homonym and there isn't any remedy for that other than meticulous proofreading. I've also been known to repeat the same word twice, or totally leave a word out. I guess there's no remedy for old age, or maybe I'm just stoopid?
