Doesn't take a majority to prevail - just an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in minds of men.

A while back I watched a mother tell her kid she could not have the candy, the kid nagged for two seconds, but the mother gave her a "look" and it was over instantly. For the most part Kids around here do not throw tantrums. My kid learned early on that it just makes it worse for him.
Maybe that is why I find American politics fascinating it is like some reality show with badly behaved kids throwing tantrums and getting away with it, maybe it is just because they have guns?

Relentlesness seems to be a successful trait these days. Eventually the respose seems to always end up being, "Fine, just shut up".
It's like a child begging for a candy bar in the checkout line. Eventually the parent just gives in for some peace.

Glad to hear you admit it. What a PERFECT description of the radical right!
Thank you. But you really should thank Samuel Adams, American patriot and Politician of the American Revolution (1722-1803). It's his quote.
So the Republican solution to problems is ARSON these days? Awesome.
That's right lets not think that quote threw. Lets jump up on our soap box and start bashing.
You continue to prove that from small brains mighty idiots grow. :-)
