English is not my first language, and I make many mistakes as well, not only with spelling, that is what bothers me and am learning, learning to do better. With other's, no, it does not bother me even though sometimes it's hard for me to understand a question / response due to bad spelling.
Frankly, I would be ashamed not to speak / write as an adult my native language the correct way, but I would never hold that against others.
Btw: I believe, texting language should be used for texting only.
I think people who speak and write English as their first language should be ashamed when a foreigner does it better.
Agree. Totally.
Does it bother you when someone tries to talk through a hanky wadded up in front of their mouth?
Having to stop and decipher which words are meant takes attention away from WHAT they mean.

Not when it is in english ^^
Ignorance is rampant and if people like being ignorant, well, I feel sorry for them. Does it bother me? Not so much if they mind their own business.
