In Canada, yes. I will try to make my lady happy on that day, or else.

Too bad it can't be everyday, not the buying gifts stuff, that's silly and kind of like you "have to". Bull! But you should let the other know everyday what they mean to you. Quality baby!

Well, one thing I have learned is there is nothing like a quick apology. Neither of us let the sun go down on anything we ever say to each other that's hurtful. Just tonight I got mad at her for not putting my soup away while I napped, ...she had fallen asleep too. Anyhow, brut that I am, I got her pretty upset and it was pretty obvious. Soon afterward I felt bad for getting her upset and apologized and told her the truth about the soup. I had set my cell phone alarm to go off every 15 minutes after I layed down. And everytime it rang I turned it off and went back to sleep. The point is I knew I'd continue to feel bad if I let her continue to feel bad, so I apologized, told her what I did, and "I just wanted to be honest with you because I love you," and the rest of the night went really well.

Well I certainly see what pissed you off!!! Leaving YOUR soup out----I would unload her now...LOL , dont live alone Chip!

Well she did say she'd put it away, so I turned off my alarm four times thinking it had already been put away. As it turned out I ate the whole thing and didn't get the runs so I guess it hadn't been out too long anyway. :)

The flower shops would like us to! To a certain extent - kids don't take cards for their whole class or make special Valentines day things at school. Adults only - and most of us don't bother.

My wife's from Russia and she had not heard of it. They celebrate International Womans Day, which is on March 8th.
