Without advertising how can people be made aware of what you have for sale?

I don't watch TV at all. I have two memberships in Netflix, and play a lot of commercial-free documentaries, science programs, history programs, and such while sewing (don'[t have to actually watch those things, listening is good enough)--and some stuff from HBO and commercial TV on the rare occasions I just watch something.

I often give up on TV, because it feels like the program free commercial hour.

Advertizing pays the cost of producing the program, running the TV or radio station, etc. Without it there would be no programs to inturrupt, unless you want to have at TV tax.
