All news shows are obsessed with Michael Jackson. Farrah should have had more coverage.

Farrah would have made headlines this morning if Michael Jackson hadn't died.

Isn't it fascinating that Jackson and Fawcett between them have had multiple times as much ink as Darfur, or the Shell-backed state murder of Ken Saro-Wiwa, or the truth about the healthcare legislation, or...?

And Americans wonder why their government and world suck!

If you are interested in post-death hyperbole regarding people that are famous for doing nothing particularly amazing, then yes, it must surely be disappointing that Jackson died the same week as Fawcett. Though McMahon is probably getting the shortest stick.

It seems rather pointless that "news" stations are reporting on these people on a loop rather than saying anything worth anything.
