i can't be sure of God's intentions, but still i'm sure that soft drugs being illegal is not because of religious reasons. people make good money selling things not to be sold on the black market, so it's a pretty good bussines and i think marijuana is not lealized exactly for that reason. i'm strongly for legalizing marijuana for several reasons: 1. it's now on the streets, but being illegal makes it impossible to be sure what we're actually smoking - marijuana or savory sprayed with pecticides; 2. if all kinds of drugs are illegal, without difference of their impact on health, it's seems for many people that they're the same -thus the step between marijuana and realy dangerous drugs deminishes; 3. all forbidden things are very much more attractive, especially for kids; 4. the state could use money from taxes on marijuana for some really usefull things, instead all the money going in dealers;
You're asking two questions in one, and that's just bad. I do not believe in God, and I don't use marijuana, but I think it should be legalized. Where do I stand?
Marijuana as a plant evolved its pharmaceutical properties because by doing so it enhanced its capabilities to reproduce and spread. By being useful, it was cultivated by people. By being tasty to birds it was spread further. By being amenable to breeding it was improved.
No, the goddess made it for us to heal, enjoy and learn from. Of course it should be legalized - it is nature.
No, I think beer was made so we'd feel good. Marijuana should be illegal. Beer is legal. Prohibition didn't work, except for Al Capone.
