Sure, the earth has a huge overpopulation problem. That being said I would rather that pregnancies were prevented in the first place by using condoms and contraceptives.
Sure??? Should we correct the over population problem with retroactive abortions, starting with you, perhaps? No one has the right to end another human being's life, particularly for a reason as spurious as over population!
Swallow a pill everyday. If you can't remember to do that then get the shot, the implant or the ring. If those are a hassle to you then just go get 'fixed'. There are plenty of options out there to prevent pregnancy so abortion as a form of birth control? Hell no!
Then we come upon the other side of the spectrum. The first few things that come to mind are serious birth defects, the delivery will cause permanent harm to either mother or child, rape victims.
When you take the responsibility, as a nation, for the health, welfare and education of every baby born in your country, from birth to death -- only then do you have the right to impose your "morality" on whether a woman has the right to terminate a pregnancy within her own body. Without that, "pro-lifers" (anti-abortionists) are hypocritical killers in their own right.
