Definitely isolates.
Isolates the younger generation and brings the older generation closer together.
Brings them closer together without with physical distance.
Correction: That is "with" physical distance.

My wife is from Ukraine. I met her through the Internet. We've been happily married for almost 7 years. Without this technology, we would never have met.
I met my wife oline also.
It depends on whether people use it to reach out or use it to avoid reaching at all.
