Of course not. It does the opposite. I couldn't imagine getting married and never having children. I personally wouldn't be able to stand being alone with just a wife all my life. And you are supposed to love your children MORE than your spouse.

After the kids' survival and nominal care are assured, spouses (and adults) should come first.

I dont think so. Your child is a part of you. You made it. It should come before anything.

They sure make a divorce more interesting!

They're little entropy machines. Everything you've built up gets destroyed. Sometimes it's fun. Sometimes you rebuild. Sort of like sand castles and the tide.

If the marriage is not destined to be, then children are a catalyst for destroying it, but aren't responible for destroying it.

Marriage is a contract between two adults.

If a marriage is destroyed it's because of the two adults.

It depends, but i strongly believe that if you are READY for marriage, you are ready to have kids, if you dont, then the demands that the kids needs are going to annoy your marriage and then you are going to realize that really you werent ready for marriage, RESPONSABILITY is the word, for both, be a parent and be married.
