Not really a problem. Just wanted to see if the response was the same for co-workers (usually not a close personal connection), friends (more personal connection), and family members (most personal connection).
Interesting how many fewer family members than the other two groups. Either non-heterosexuals are not as open with their families, or the heterosexuals do not want to acknowledge being blood related to someone that is gay.
Of the 8 major departments here, 2 are run by non-heterosexuals.
