Do you get angry when you read something you disagree with, even if it's true? Ask a Question

It depends on how the differing opinion is presented. Some present their 'opinions' with the intent to insult and antagonize others, others state their opinions as their beliefs for others to consider. Examples of right wing antagonists would be Anne Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. Examples of left wing antagonists would be Jon Stewart and Al Franken. Those on the right listen to Anne and Rush to give them outlets and make them laugh - Jon and Al make them crazy and fume. I listen to Jon and read Al for a great laugh and nod-along session, and become enraged by Rush's hypocrisies and Anne's childish viciousness.

Those who present their opinions as calm, rational human beings with a differing viewpoint never make me angry. I always enjoy getting an opinion that's different from mine. It gives me 'perspective' and the ability to learn and expand my horizons.

Sometimes I do. Like when the prick from Austria got caught for locking up his daughter and making her have his kids. I strongly disagree with this type of behaviour, but it was true.

Truth is a pretty subjective thing. Mine or yours? ;-)

Yeah, it seems there is no "truth" left. Everyone has their own truth.

I don't disagree with something I know to be true...
