I'm thinking real singers - lieder, choir and opera. Nothing matches the soprano.

Looking at my all time favorits, the female singers are slightly more abundant, but there are some great male voices too, so in general it is hard to tell.

Anything that isn't soprano, with VERY few exceptions, they sound screechy.

Depends on the song.

Mariah Carey has a tremendous voice, but I can't imagine her trying to cover "Enter Sandman".

Don't like most singing but love piano music and easy Jazz.
