Yes I do! Any One who can call everything into being by His Word and then sacrifice His own Son to redeem believers in Him is a being to be reckoned with!

why fear someone that is supposed to be so loving, kind and forgiving.
First, you obviously didn't read the question. Second, even in your context how about, He created everything? He's also a God of justice, judgment and righteousness? And He will one day judge the disposition of your eternal soul?
I am surprised so many fear God! God does not exist. Why not fear something more practical, like nature.
I guess some of us just aren't as all-knowing as you are. I'll pray for you.
