I would honestly love to know the answer myself as well, as most people I know tend to either not know about this concern, and or avoid it when the petitions go around the internet~
Is that what "Internet Neutrality" is all about?? I think if Facebook wants to charge you for using its service then they should be allowed to. At the same time you wont catch me paying to use it, but they should have the right to charge people if they wanted.
Under network neutrality, I pay for the connection and traffic over a certain amount and so do the companies like facebook. My ISP sees the success of those companies and think I can make some easy money by blackmailing them, they can artificially slow down the connection to facebook or even block it intermittently and blame it on facebook, after all everything else works fine ;) Network neutrality seeks to prevent that kind of behavior.
This question doesn't make any sense the way it's stated. Net neutrality is the concept that an ISP can't slow down/block traffic from another ISP and promote their own content at an advantage. As an example, if I have a site that streams movies and so do you, I shouldn't be able to slow down your signal so mine always works better.
Basically, I was asking if the viewer was for leaving the internet the way it stands now, and NOT have to pay your ISP more for visiting certain websites, or having to pay extra to visit the websites you love.
I am asking this question for a school project :)
