uh yeah, fuel cell cars. Biofuel. like the million dollar man doctor, or what ever said, "we have the technology", well at least we do in the U.S., but maybe ya'll don't have that yet in Canada.
There are problems with biofuel, the least of which is giving over that much cropland to grow more monocultures.
Fuel cells sound better to me. The ultimate problem is still that oil running out, and all our technology...ALL of it, is based on available, cheap oil.
Well that is why i don't believe we should use corn for biofuel. It is cheaper, and puts out more ethanol if we use sugarcane or switch grass. And switch grass is a weed that needs little water.
