Duh, actually you can. You can put a real email address or a pseudonym's email address in your profile here. I just did that. I put a pseudonym's email address there. I check for mail about once a week.
To disable the ability of other people to send you a message? Probably not, since it'd be only a small percentage that would want it turned off but everyone would have to see the option and think about it.
We would have a "block" feature, so if you didn't want to hear from someone we wouldn't pass along their message.
> Maybe have an 'all' option beside the block feature.
Yeah, that might work. We'll tackle it when we get there (this feature isn't high on the list) and when we do we'll keep in mind at least two people don't want it at all. :)
private messages would be great!! sometimes some discussion start, and continue, and do not have anything to do with the topic of the question anymore. moreover the text becomes unreadable because it is squeezed on the right side more and more...

He is talking is about sharing it privately. I can type my email here so you can have it, but that way some other people would have it also.
Maybe an internal PM system like in forums.
Yep, it's on the list. We'll add a way to send people a private message. It's not a top priority though, could be awhile until we get to it.
Thanks for the question Chipmonk.

I don't think I would. :-)

Yes actually, I have. Great to see that Aaron is working on it for the future.
A chat room might be good. It would give the community something to do during the polling time waits.
Actually, a chat area would be best.
