Wow... how young are you that you call this "classic" TV? Classic TV would be more like Twilight Zone, Father Knows Best, I Love Lucy and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. ;o)
Cheers and Seinfeld might have pretensions to being classics, but Frasier is a spin-off, and Scrubs is the epitome of the modern penchant for stupid humor.

I've never heard of any of those, and I would regard these options as "classic". I'm 17.
Perhaps they were not aired in Great Britain.
