No, Hillary said it in the debate against Obama. Woman calls in a question to Hillary, saying she was 38 yrs. old and every time she could vote, a Clinton or Bush has been the primary nominee. She then went on to ask what would Hillary do different, in so many words of course, cause they are all long winded. The above poll was her general response...

I don't know for sure yet. It was funny though! Now that I think about it, she cleaned up after Bill all of the time, it wouldn't be that different for her to clean up after Bush. Lol!

They are still trying to clean up the Oval office from Bill's tenure. Some spots are really hard to remove.

Rofl! That wasn't tongue in cheek!

Pretty good, Mike. May have been chewed up pretzels though.

Was Monica chewing pretzels too! Quite a talented intern.

The Clintons didn't clean up at all! It was a continuation of the "same-old-same-old", unless you were worried about outing gays in uniform. Mostly a window dressing, I suppose that still qualifies as different. There were no prosecutions for the Reagan-Bush international crimes of covert ops and illegal arms deals, for instance. What will Hillary do to "clean up"? Start at the beginning, and investigate the mountains of evidence and testimonies from 9/11 that are at shocking variance with official report from Bush's people? Nah. She'll spend most of her time making sure the crown looks right on her.

Well, you had me with you until you wandered off into the grand 9/11 conspiracy and the covert ops and arms deals mumbo jumbo.

You write this as though you have never heard of the CIA's numerous bloody covert ops, or of the US backing notorious dictatorships and repressive governments (Chile, Iran, El Salvador, Iraq, Bolivia, Argentina... list too long) with aid and/or arms. You also imply that you think all the firemen, pilots, engineers, retired generals, architects and government insiders who deny the official 9-11 story are incoherent morons.

Perhaps doing some actual research would help you understand the reality of this "mumbo jumbo", and the critical time we live in.

Great Scott Eye, every government has its covert ops and every country holds its nose and forms temporary alliances with governments it would normally spurn.

As far as all the firemen, pilots, engineers, retired generals and government insiders: Have you examined them to see if they have a political agenda? Could it be that they are Democrats wanting Democrats to get into office?

Why is it you are so eager to accept the opinions of those who accuse this government and this President of all manner of misdeeds?

I understand your paranoia that it might be a partisan ploy. But there are plenty of very vocal republicans on this issue, like Col. Ronald D. Ray, former Dep. Asst. Sec. of Defense under Reagan, and Ray McGovern (Chairman, National Intelligence Estimates, CIA, who was responsible for Reagan and Bush I's daily briefing) who claim the highly orchestrated crimes of 9-11 were done by insiders.

Yes, sometimes we make smelly alliances for diplomatic gain. But too many places like Chile were destroyed by not a "hold nose and shake hands" kind of deal, but by Milton Friedman's students in a long-term shock strategy for forcibly repressing and remaking a country that is open to so-called free-markets (the NeoCon - really NeoLiberal - dream). We were very helpful in destroying the socialist-leaning democracy which was doing just fine until Pinochet and the Chicago Boys had their day.

Come on now Eye, I cannot believe that you seriously buy into that. I can halfway understand these liberal, left-wing Canadians in this forum that consistently belittle and berate anything American and scan all the ultra-leftist blog sites to reinforce their hatred of President Bush and the USA. They are just pissed that their country is inconsequential on the world stage. You don't have that excuse.

Looked up your references to Col. Ronald D. Ray and Ray McGovern and neither give any convincing or empirical evidence, just opinions and allegations.

With a Congress full of Bush-hating Democrats and a generous amount of Bush haters in the American Media, don't you think someone could come up with something concrete. You know, as well as I do, that President Bush's administration is probably the most scrutinized in history, with the possible exception of Nixon.

There is increasing media coverage of anyone or thing in the spotlight and plenty of people doing research on the net in the direction they want to look. Imagine if the technology was available back in oh, say, the Lincoln years, would he still be viewed the same with his dirty laundry showing? Guess we should ask ourselves, what do we REALLY know, not just heresy...

The most scrutinized administration? I most often hear people characterize it as the most secretive. (Refusals to turn over documents, secret "energy" meetings with Enron and oil companies just a couple weeks after taking office, the refusal for well over a year to investigate the disaster of 9/11, etc.)

I have done (and continue to do) exhaustive research on the matter and have yet to see anything that would convince me even to the smallest degree that the official story of the 9-11 Commission comes close to telling the real story. I won't begin to get into this with you Mike, as it would be the equivalent of writing a book, for all the evidence there is that the official story is just plain wrong. Another thing. Right after 9/11, I heard crazy notions floating around that Bush ordered the planes to fly into the Twin Towers. How crazy does that sound?? I too thought that of course the official story is basically right. But four years after the fact, I saw the video of WTC7's 47-stories come down in a few seconds and wanted to know more about that (which few of us ever saw). The more I looked into the whole thing, the more it stank. It's been years of my looking into it now. You won't convince me it is just "Bush-haters" propagating a hateful story. There is something seriously amiss here.

Eye, I had no illusion about changing your mind. I have read all these theories myself and come to a different conclusion. That's America!
