We've responded repeatedly to your direct inquiries. Many of the questions in your question history speak for themselves. A good portion of them are this exact, self-referential question, and many, many of them are repeat questions.
To be sure, some are innocuous (though referencing external links or information outside the question will also often get a question marked down to keep them off external sites lacking the context), but the question history you reference as evidence of overzealous moderation also serves as reasonable evidence that you're regularly engaging in the types of behavior we expect the community to keep in check.
It sounds like to me, by this answer, you and your crew are also marking questions inappropriate and that should not be.
The right answer should have been,"We are not influencing the way the community is marking the questions".
It is kind of funny. I had a question marked inappropriate 5 to ten minutes after I asked it and 3 of the 6 members that were shown to be on line were those that are usually in agreement and none of the admitted mark-down-gang were shown to be on line. It doesn't seem to me you are being honest with this answer.
I'm not sure what you mean, Wingnutt. I didn't say I, or our "crew," are marking questions inappropriate. I think the community as a whole is doing a credible job moderating itself.
Repeat questions, questions about Ask500People or its users, questions that aren't questions, and questions that reference comments or external links have regularly been pulled from the question stream by our users. And I, at least personally, am glad for that. Our community is active 24 hours a day... and generally smarter.
LOL! What a joke! Speak about not seeing the facts! Give me a few minutes so I can glean some liberal questions that do all you say in the above comment but they don't get 'removed.'
Here you go Hawaii - if you want to see who created these, you know how to 'search' on a phrase, right? You will see that if I or another conservative had asked any of these questions, (just insert 'liberal' or Democrat where you see Repub) they would have been removed before a single vote could be applied; but all these made it and were not removed from view.
Do you think birthers are bigots? (Birthers are the ones claiming President Obama is not an American citizen).
Does the combined effect of opposing Judge Sotomayer, and support of the birther morons, label-lock republicans as racists?
To get black people in the republican party, the GOP head says “Y’all come; I’ve got fried chicken and potato salad." Stupid?
Republicans are embarrassed by "Pastor" Wiley Drake for his praying for the death of President Obama?
Conservative pundit Pat Buchanan suggested that Gov. Palin’s husband should murder her daughter’s ex-boyfriend.
Are U.S. Republicans a fatally failed party?
Palin says she'll campaign for Democrats who think like her. Comical?

OK, Hawaii, I got tired of finding this crap! Tell me your site is "fair" when a group can have all of another group's questions removed because they don't agree with them? When this site was first created, I agree, the "inappropriate" button was valid but since some of us have found out it can be used to stifle/shut up/silence others, it is no longer a good option to retain.
Here is an idea, whatever amount you have set for marking a question inappropriate, say 5 checks or 7 or 10, maybe you should move that number up a good amount where just a few cannot use it to their advantage. As there are about 10 liberals who 'live' on this site, stalking the conservatives, I would say a good number might be 20 or so. If a question is truly inappropriate there will be enough people who see it and click to 'remove' it, I am sure!
"This is not about insuring the uninsured. This is not about health care. This is about stealing one-sixth of the U.S. private sector and putting it under the control of the federal government. And when they get this health care bill, if they do, that's the easiest, fastest way for them to be able to regulate every aspect of human behavior, because it will all have some related cost to health care -- what you drive, what you eat, where you live, what you do. And there'll be penalties for violating regulations. It's going to be the biggest snatch of freedom and liberty that has yet occurred in this country." -- Rush

Go to the above link and look at all they shot down.
Could I get an Admin type to tell me what is wrong with those last few questions of mine so that the liberal backstabbers would mark them down?
Check my profile link to see what I am talking about:
