Carpooling is an option I would consider when gasoline reaches: Ask a Question

I would have been carpooling now if I had the option; but no one goes in my direction. I'm on a cross-commute. =(

You probably should have added the option(s). (1) I can't carpool and (2) I will never carpool

Gas is already over $5/US gal here. I choose andy's option above - I will never carpool.

Gas is just bout $4.50 here on the west coast. Outside my house its $4.35 for regular.

Well, petrol here is very expensive, but like TheSheep, carpooling for me would not be an option although that would be great. This is a rural area and people are very spread out, the fact that needing a car to get most places makes carpooling a useful thing but the distances that would be involved in picking people up would negate the savings.

If gas was $10 per gallon I would consider carpooling.

Yeah, yeah. I'm going to car pool with a car full of sex toys. How many people would want their dead bodies photographed after THAT accident??

It depends on where the sex toys ended up, I guess??
