I hope not. Coins are heavier and wear out your pants pockets. You would look like you were walking around with a pocketful of marbles.

We have $1 and $2 coins. They were changed because the notes didn't last.

We don't have the paper notes now, our notes are plasticised and are different colours.

Personally I think it is about time to eliminate at least the penny (1/100 of a dollar) if not both the penny and the nickel. Re-size the half dollar to a smaller usable size, and replace the paper dollar with its coin.

really, whats a penny worth these days? they're more of a pain then they are useful.

In Europe we have coins for our 1 and 2 euros.
