Can't in many places in the United States (thank God!). I can't believe it took so long for non-smokers to demand their rights. I wish more would speak up and ban it from every public place.
People in the US who are answering yes need to reread the question...you cannot smoke anywhere in this country...the state i live in has the smoking ban in bars, restaurants and public buildings. everyone in the US should be putting no..it didnt ask if you can smoke anywhere in your state, its asks in your country!

well, in spain is not permited at discos. The little bars can choose to be a smoker or non-smoker bar. But i have to say people ignore the law :(
