He was pretty clear that he thought there were two kinds of Republicans - neocons and pragmatists, and that he was of the pragmatist variety. I would suspect that many other republicans who have been jumping ship are of that variety too.
I predict that Wingnutt will never make another post after 4 Nov because he won't be able to make his mouth form the words, "President-Elect Obama," and he won't be enough of a man to stand up and admit he was wrong.

Oh... was that a backstabbing innuendo? I thought it was a pretty straightforward question. He's already done Obama and dauguy... I just figured he was on a roll.
Bloomberg was a lifelong democrat until switching to Republican in 2001 to run for mayor, than switched his affiliation in 2007 to independent. I'm not sure a man who was Republican for only 6 years qualifies?
The question should be: "Who cares? or Why does it matter?" BTW, the same fools that are lauding the endorsement today are the same people who discounted his endorsements in the past.

[0 points] 3 years ago by deleted user ReplyYou already show your ignorance by calling me a left wing liberal. I am (or was), in fact. a Ron Paul supporter.
Until someone is sworn in they are not the President, the correct term is President-Elect
You should move that date to Jan 20th, the inauguration.
Since by "us" you mean "those who vote Republican without thinking" - you're right.

He donated money to the McCain campaign, you can't call that a fence sitter. http://www.newsmeat.com/washington_political_donations/Colin_Powell.php

If republicans went against Republican mayor Michael Bloomberg would they devouring their own?
Bloomberg was a lifelong democrat until switching to Republican in 2001 to run for mayor, than switched his affiliation in 2007 to independent. I'm not sure a man who was Republican for only 6 years qualifies?
Can Obama "trust" Powell?? I'm not sure what is meant by that. Obama isn't asking anything of Powell. So why is "trust" even relevant?
Perhaps a legitimate question could be "Is Powell sincere?" or "Is Powell's endorsement motivated by race?" But trust? What does that matter?
What difference does it make?
