If this is true, which I have my doubts, thenthey should be able to stop it from happening.
Surely if there was some intelligence data to back this up, it would be both insane and possibly criminally careless to broadcast details and let the would be terrorists know you were on to them.
All that would do would be to get them to change dates, and/or target.
The logical course would be to throw resources at them and try to catch them with evidence of the plot and arrest them, or at the very least, make them go away for good.
But the date won't be changed because the government IS the terrorist and it's revealing its plan for us to start accepting the consequences.
People, even politicians - who are some of the worst examples of humanity - are not that callous.
lol man, you've got to watch some documentaries to see how dirty politician can be, and they are nothing compared to the shadow government.
