Firefox 3.0 was released on June 17, dubbed "Download Day." The servers are buckling under the strain, but you can grab the installers via the links below:

Mac OSX: http://twurl.nl/5babba

I have been using previous release candidates and it took me 45 minutes to DL today's newest version. It's great, much more usable than IE.

2.0 was much more usable than IE.

Oh yep, true, but I found that it used a ridiculous amount of processor power, slowing down everything else, 3.0 doesn't do that.

I've been using it for a couple of months in beta.

I downloaded the final version at about 6pm and it only took about ten minutes to download.

Just downloaded it thanks to your question. My favorite theme isn't compatible yet, but that's ok. It does seem faster!

I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, but it a lot of my favorite add ons weren't available for it yet. Made me sad ... (sniff, sniff) I reverted to the old version.

I'm not going to upgrade until my add-ons all work in 3.0.
