[1 point] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyNo - they are as solid, straight-down-the-middle line as it gets. The right wing doesn't like the middle. They call the middle "left" because it doesn't suit their vision.
Why Silly... I can't believe you haven't heard. ALL Media is left leaning. The Media is 100% corrupt. Just ask Bill O'Reilly. ;o)
The media always want to talk about miscarriages of justice, and injustices. And that's just WRONG! Everybody should just talk about the good stuff. If that leftie media would just quit TALKING about problems - we all know there wouldn't BE any! Stupid, commie-pinkos ...
Hear, hear! My country... right... there is no wrong!

[0 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyWikipedia can be edited by anybody who wants to distort anything. It's a favorite haunt of BOTH conservatives and liberals who want to slant "facts" to bolster their opinion. (lol)
Hint: if the media mentions points out something conservatives don't want pointed out - that makes them liberal. If they point out things liberals don't like, it makes them conservative. So if conservatives think it's liberal, and liberals think it's conservative (and I do think BBC is rather conservative, myself, being a liberal), then odds are it's dead straight up the middle.

What i think is funny, everyone in the world always thinks they know everything about the U.S. and are always things like "Americans are so blah blah blah" or "in America blah blah blah"
They act like they have been living here for 20-years and just moved away a week ago. If you don't live here, stop acting like you are an expert on the United States.

And thanks to American led globalization - they're living in the middle of our shit. Some people want to praise the emperor's new clothes. Others think he should be TOLD he's naked.

[1 point] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyNo nigga, i supported Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004, i supported Hillary till she withdrew, but now i support McCain, i just can't drive myself to vote for a black terrorist. No j/ks. I support Obama, never have supported a Republican President and probably never will. I have supported a Republican Governor though, In California many republican Governors tend to be much more socially liberal then the republicans who run for president, they all come from redneck states, like Texas, where George Bush ironically came from, but wasn't born their.

[2 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyUh haven't you realized i am not your average kid, with things like "thinking in the 21st century" and "pomosexual" and many of those other hint droppers to the fact i didn't role up in the same car as you. [metaphor, don't want to be hearing any shit about car, huh?]
And do you know what i just love the most, the fact i can say "i told you so" to people who wanted Bush in 2004. They only saw the artwork and not the frame it was on, just voting for him because he is against abortion and "gay marriage". Well i hope those people who voted for him can pay for gas with their bibles. And i am not blaming him 100% for the gas, but he sure as hell played his role...

[-2 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyI'm from the USA and I know. I have relatives outside it...I also occasionally turn in to their news. Considering that decisions the USA makes on foreign policy and economics affects other countries, they have a right to their opinions.

[-1 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyAnd the stalking continues...this IS kind of fun!
If you don't like the phasing, then as I stated before, you should have found a way to state it without being insulting. You were abysmally rude to me. I believe you not only called me a terrorist sympathizer, which I had to tell you twice I was not (you never did get on point with the question), and then you said, "flipant stupid silly and down right insulting to people of genuine problem governments give yourself a real big pat on the back and move to Zimbabwe if you think things are so bad." in response to a playful argument another friend and I were having. How would you prefer I respond? How would YOU respond?
Just putting it in context for the rest of the readers, dear. You would like them to know BOTH sides of the argument, wouldn't you?

[0 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyI can't really tell who is who in your commentary, as you don't necessarily announce yourselves first when posting? Perhaps you may want to remedy that? Or at least explain how I am supposed to make that determination.
I was fairly ambivalent about that posting. I have never been driven to anger enough to say that online before. I have rarely been that insulted. It was not a solution to our differences, but it was an honest response. I didn't accuse you of being a racist or a terrorist. That is YOUR tactic (whichever of you made those posts). Fuck you is a very harsh, strong way of saying "fuck off" "leave me alone" "go to hell". Not nice at all; it wasn't my intention to be nice, but to let you know I had had enough. If you want to denigrate my character on those terms, feel free to call me a potty mouth and rude. I'd watch the name calling, though.
No one has to live in USA to know what effect it makes to other countries around the world. The fact is that US acts like a bully when ever any of it's interests or it's lobby's interests are at stake - ergo "force for evil"
Cool, since you haven't even lived for twenty years, I don't really see you as an expert either.
I don't usually agree with Juno but I don't think his comments should have been moderated down.
I agree.
Then moderate it back up again. That's what I usually do when I see an opinion I don't think should have been moderated down.

[1 point] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyWhen european tourist guides suggest claming to be canadian, you know theres something wrong ;P (Im not kidding, ive actually seen several myself)
This comment was deleted.
[2 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyAnd it is well-known among a certain subset of Americans to claim to be Canadian if you are ever busted in Mexico. Apparently the Canadian government gets tetchy if THEIR citizens are abused.
Many Americans will wear Canadian flags on their clothing when abroad. They tend to get treated much better.
I bought a fluffy jacket that has Canada across the front in large letters - big maple leaf on the sleeve. And I know you don't think I've got the accent down ... but I can sownd like a nohrthern Onterian in a heartbeat, eh.

[2 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyAre you aware that most European Nations have a native population in decline, and will eventually become Muslim majority nations. And we know where that leads don't we.
I'm not that sure that we do.
It means more things like this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_complaints_against_Maclean%27s_Magazine
The referenced poll was taken in the UK, France, Germany and Russia. So, if you are suggesting that the numbers are skewed because Muslim populations in those countries hate us, then look at the numbers:
- UK: 60.9 million population/ 92.1 % white/ 2% black/ 1.3% Pakistani/ 1.8% Indian
- France: 64.1 million population/ 83-88% Roman Catholic/ 1% Jewish/ 2% Protestant/ 5-10% Muslim
- Germany: 82.4 million population/ 91.5% German/ 2.4% Turkish
- Russia: 140.7 million population/ 80% Ethnic Russian/ 10-15% Muslim
I didn't say that at all. I was just making a smart ass comment in response to the way you posed the question.
Sorry I missed the point of your smart-ass comment. So, what is your point as it relates to the question posed?

[1 point] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyI'm sure there are some Europeans still left that appreciate the US.Most Americans (black, white, asian, arabic, whatever) still honor their roots. To those faithful allies.. we'll be there again for you guys when the stuff gets thick. Also don't believe everything you see on TV.
Thankfully it's still within our grasp to turn it around. Last time a country with as much potential as the US has - the propaganda machines enacted by the elected leaders gave the world Nazi Germany. Being as isolated as our population is, I give the majority of us credit for finally seeing through it all, though many of us still don't. (sigh)

[0 points] 4 years ago by deleted user ReplyJust annoint Obama and get it over with. He will surely make the world all better. All the US problems will go away. The rich will get their due. Everyone will be equal, and the government will support us all. We won't have to ask for oil, we'll just do without. We won't have to fight no foreign wars. We'll just let whomever have their way with whoever. Good Luck.
