Generally, yes. If not proud of your country, you might as well move. I think that's different than being proud of every decision of government though, or even of the collective population.

Not really, I find the concept to be proud of ones country a bit problematic. What should I be proud of? Of the great things "my" nation achieved in the past? That was all done by others and being proud myself seems a bit odd in this respect. I might as well be ashamed as well then for my nations share in slave trade and colonial exploitation. And I only feel a very very tiny bit of responsability for what our politicians do since I am only one in a few million voters (and I even voted for a party that is currently in the opposition). So no, we have a beautiful country but I might as well be proud of the nature of Brazil, the music of South-Africa or the food from Thailand.
