How would I be able to tell if I was unhappy? I know many people who have things I want, but when asked if I would happily change places with them invariably I almost always say "no." I'm not sure if this means I am happy. All it really means is my known situation is more appealing to me than the unknowns that might arise if I decided I wanted to live out the rest of my days in someone else's shoes. When I see rich people flying from one end of the country to another at least once a week, when I see rich people with "verified accounts" on Twitter posting Twitpics of scrumptious meals I sometimes think to myself my dog wouldn't even eat *that*, when I see all the hard work that goes into making an academy award motion picture I think gee that is more trouble than it's worth... I reckon it must be true I am a reasonably happy person just being me.
Are we ever?
