Are the sexes mentally identical? Ask a Question

6 Answers

I think there are vast differences, at least between the "average Jane" and "average John". Individually we probably all have different sides to how we are mentally.

Interestingly I have a friend who used to be part of the radical feminist movement in the 70-ies (and I am talking really radical here). She once told me that because of her rational mental approach to things she was sometimes "accused" of thinking too much in a masculine way by the other feminists.

Extra Testosterone can be tricky.

No two people are mentally identical, gender regardless.

And that is a good thing!

women tend to mature earlier than men

The brains of the sexes differentiate very early--while still in the womb. This means they have different strengths and approaches. But they both are capable of understanding and exhibiting ethical behavior.

No two people of the SAME sex are mentally identical, for Chrissake.

The most obvious and easilly measured difference is that women are, on average, much more able linguistically.

And yet most important communications are left up to men. Go figure.

Now if women could talk in a manner that we men could understand... Then again we do tend to think primarily with our small heads.

*kiss* Good to see you back.

Thanks, I was getting a little tired of all the hate here. It seems a little better now...

It waxes and wanes.

Sounds like the opening scene of a porno. :)

Really? The most important communications like "Its a girl!" are usually spoken by women.

Not identical.

Check this YouTube which sheds a little light on the subject.
