Aren't aboriginals kind of like cave men? If not then this comment is probably inappropriate and I apologize too. :-)
But if they are like cave men then they probably wouldn't be able to listen to your cable TV news and they wouldn't be able to read your newspaper, so why would you need to apologize to them if they never knew you said anything that required an apology?

I think this apology was a very good move. The Australian government's silence on this issue in the past was completely unacceptable. I think it is a step in the right direction, and Australia will be an even better country for it.
