Germany

Doctors recommend peeing in the shower for patients with painful bladder infections.
One of the things they told us in the Army. Urine disinfects. We were in he jungle in Panama doing land navigation and the lieutenant training with us sat on an ant hill. We pulled his clothes off to get the ants off of him and we all pissed on him. I made him rub the urine in all over his body. We then took the fastest route to the nearest water and put him in it to wash him off and then called medivac. Kept him from getting infected from the many bites he had. He looked like an over inflated football for a couple of days after that.
It also works for stings from critters that swim around in the ocean, bee or wasp stings, jiggers, etc. If you don't have a First Aid Kit handy you can literally piss on it until you can get treatment. Maybe a soaked cloth and dabbing might work also. Believe it or not, it was also taught in the Boy Scouts. We have, however, gotten away from the question above. No, I pee in the shower because I have a full bladder and it all gets flushed down the drain.
Good for foot fungus too. I usually keep a couple bounce sheets in my pockets or in my belt loops.
My dad taught me the foot fungus one, he learned it in the army.
Urine is sterile, yes, but your urethra is not.
That is why it needs a good flushing out.
Yes, urine is sterile and can be a very effectful alternative to get rid of pus and such. To the end of WWII and some time afterwards were almost no medications available in Germany. Because of the poor diet many incl. my brothers and I developed serious problems with pus and etc.'s so that we had to drink (!) pure our own, still warm urine with every outbreak. The doctor was correct it helped almost instantly. My mother's explanation about urine and that our horror was just in our heads plus the fast success helped us to get (almost) used to that unusual method of healing.
And YES I do already whatever I can to try to save a tree since I can think of. But then again, I grew up during unbelievable tough times where most things were not so easy avaiable (if at all!) as it is now incl. paper. The more I appreciate and is very important for me to protect what we have now.
Interesting. My father-in-law was a first sergeant in the army during WW II. He was captured by the Americans as they were retreating from France. My mother-in-law lived through the bombings. I used to hear some really interesting stories and I won't forget them.
Vietnam was a nasty war but no where near as devastating as the European and South Sea versions. Every body wanted retribution on the Germans and the Japs.
Anyone have a link to the commercial?
One of the guys at work pulled it up on youtube.
