I have to laugh at the bias and lack of understanding in the wording of these answers.

Just because you get a refund does not mean you don't pay taxes, they are withheld from each of your paychecks and at the end of the year if too much has been withheld you receive a refund. This is just an interest free loan to the government.

Honest corporations pay taxes based on the tax laws in place. If the law allows them to differ or decrease their tax liabilities and you think this is a "loophole", then vote to have the laws changed.

Some corporations are double taxed. For example I am a partial owner of an S Corporation. All earnings of the corporation are passed directly through to the share holders who pay income tax on the corporate retained earnings. Then if those retained earnings, which have already been taxed, are distributed to the share holders the next year the share holders once again have to pay individual income tax on that same money.

Is this questions correct? I didn't think the Tea Party was a political party, only a political movement which may become a political party in the future. As far as I can find there have never been any Tea Party candidates, only other party candidates who have been supported by the Tea Party movement.

I don't think you can honestly know what you will do until you are confronted with this. I hope I could forgive them but I am certain that would be tough. I don't think I would kill myself or them, so I would probably let the courts deal with it and hope I could eventually forgive them.

The Department of the Interior's Minerals Mining Service is supposed to inspect the rigs every 30 days, so if they were disabled shouldn't the government have noticed that 11 months ago? Not that BP wouldn't be faultless, but the federal bureaucracy set up to prevent this certainly wouldn't be faultless either.

I am just fine with the companies giving out bonuses, I just don't think they should have gotten the bailout. If a company wants to give out bonuses they can, they just need to do it with their own money not mine in the form of a bailout. The only way to prevent this is to not have bailouts.

The existing law is a federal law, Arizona can't enforce a federal law, so they cloned it and made a state enforcement law.
