Salt is only one type of electrolyte - potassium, calcium and magnesium are also valuable for replenishment. Gatorade's salt content is very high unless you are doing an intense workout (270 mg per bottle). Lemonade, and many other juices, are highly acidic. Most athletes like cleaner, water based electrolyte drinks to prevent stomach upset.
The ideal sports drink has a range of electrolytes, lower sugar than gatorade and a nice taste (encourages replenishment), without artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, etc.
