I'm sorry, are you disagreeing or agreeing with what I am saying? My position is that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. However, I think the jury is out on the "genes" thing - I believe there might be gestational factors as well.

Oh, I think they do worry about it. Not the majority of sane Republicans, but the crazy extreme ones. They worry about it because they recognize something in themselves they want to hide, so they scream against it and sway the rest to their side because surely, surely someone who is a good, decent person who shares many of their beliefs wouldn't be screaming about this if their wasn't something inherently WRONG with it.

I have personally watched borderline sociopaths go on screaming, backbiting missions to ostracize someone, and then deny that word one ever passed their lips. Those same people had some of the same shoddy business practices that they were accusing others of having (and usually, the victims of their tirades were completely innocent). But these folks know how to make themselves liked, and no one ever thinks to question them until it is too late.
