I believe that this is a repost of a question which asked "Did you ever touch drugs?" Since I use prescription medication I made a comment about that phrasing. Now the word "narcotic" is used - which still includes legally obtained, medically prescribed drugs. If this question is asking if we have used legal narcotic drugs, then it is clear. If it is asking if illegal substances or recreational, non-prescription drugs have been used, it is not clear.
Some of us celebrate a holiday season without Christian, Jewish, Islamic or other major religion ties and without consumerism. How about an option for good will and encouragement of the fine things of the spirit?
