I would place clean air and water above sexual preference in order of importance. Without a healthy life sustaining ecosystem, the question of sexuality or gender related issues is pretty much useless when contrasted against survival.
I am a forty-something grandfather and a non-bitter Christian gun toter who has been married to the same girl for half my life. While I am hetero,I have to wonder about the question and the motivation for asking it.
One of the wisest bits of wisdom that is so neglected these days is that we not judge others. In this day and age a little understanding and compassion for other people is sorely needed. Since the word "humanity" is used in the question, how about first rediscovering some of what that means before attempting to "save" anyone.
Arkansas is a nice place to vacation. We like the northwest corner. Beaver Lake and the surrounding Ozarks are very nice. There are also many streams that are great for paddling. My favorite is the Buffalo.
Each had their moment in the sun, but for high altitude performance and operational range it would have to be the Mustang. For sheer beauty it is the Spitfire in my opinion.
