Which punishment makes the prisoner suffer more?

I agree with your statement. Perhaps forcing a person to live with the fear of death just around the corner, day in and day out, would be the punishment that would cause the greatest suffering. I'm assuming that we are talking about the suffering of the prisoner and not the suffering of the greater community.

Do you drink bottled water?

Only in a pinch. I have high quality filtered water and use an aluminum thermos. Why contribute to the use of plastics and the need to bottle and transport the water..?
