congress is the one's who pass new laws not the president.

The president may propose a bill but it is

members of the house and senate who actually

word and debate the bill.

It is our beloved congress who add pork to a bill

which you probably have no clue what that means.

They will take a bill and add their special

projects to it.

Maybe the original bill was for say Relief

for a city or state following a tragic event.

But the house and senate may add other items on

to it like maybe a new bridge back home to no

where that not even the local people want.

If the president wants the money for the

tragedy he has to accept all the other crap

tack on to it.

You say The question has nothing to do with congress but only the president I disagree.

You don't see us bitching about your government.

Our president gets enough crap from the opposition who have their own agenda.

It is a known fact that when their is a war the person who is in charge takes the heat for that war justified or not.

And your point is?

He still has a much higher

approval rate than our

beloved congress.

Most people wear their watch on the opposite arm they write with.

I am right handed so wear it on my left arm.
