While in town your coat gets stolen. It is a 30 minute walk home, there is no bus, it is near freezing and raining a bit.
Unlikely, in my climate it never gets that cold / I never go on foot
I call for somebody to come to my rescue and pick me up
I will take a taxi
I walk home as fast as I can without my coat

British newspaper "News of the World" will go out of print as the result of involvement in a phone hacking scandal.
Rightly so! Hacking phones of missing children, dead soldiers and celebrities is unforgivable.
Not good, only those responsible should be punished, many of the 200 people that lose their jobs now are innocent.
Alright. There are already rumors of a new newspaper, a lot of the News of the World staff could work there.
Not right, the measures taken are too harsh or something else should be done to prevent this from happening again.

Should we do anything against hateful (racist, homophobic, antisemitic) language used by fans at football matches?
There are more important things in the world to worry about.
It is not tolerated elsewhere in society so we should do all we can to stop it.
Football is an outlet for all kinds of emotions. These fans do not mean it literally.
We should act against the really bad things (like whole groups chanting offensively against one player) but not the rest

Are you experiencing Christmas-stress?
Stress what stress? I am already looking forward to be with my relatives, to give and receive presents and a great dinner
The expectations of peace and harmony give me stress. I am alone or just have irritating in-laws and family to celebrate with
Yes, having to shop for original presents, having to cook a dinner. Not knowing how to pay for everything
I have no Christmas-stress because I do not celebrate it

Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi (barely) surviving a vote of no confidence this week is:
To be respected. That is how democracy works, the choice of the majority must be respected
Fraudulent. Several people changed their their vote in favor of him at the last moment, these votes where probably bought
Good for stability. It would be bad for Europe if the Italian prime minister would be sacked in the current economic climate
Bad. Mr. Berlusconi should have been sacked a long time ago, as long as he is prime minister he escapes prosecution
