Why is it that when someone disagrees with another persons religious beliefs there seems to be so much hostility? I am proud to be an atheist and yet I totally respect everyone's beliefs. I would never try to force MY Beliefs on anyone nor would i be rude or arrogant when someone didn't feel/think/believe as I do. However when anyone seems to stand up and openly admit they doubt there is a God - "believers" get soo offended and self righteous. Whose to say What YOU believe is better then what I beleive?
No. I have a hard time believing there is a giant "entity" above who plays with us like barbies...there is No proof to support the fact that any God exsists. The bible does Not count, as it is written by MAN.
YES! I live in Western North Carolina right outside of Asheville, and this is the ONLY place I've ever felt like I belong and people accept me for ME. I love it here and plan to live here forever...it's the only place that's ever made me feel at home.
