Everyone should be exempt from taxation including organized religion. The only reason we should be paying taxes are to pay for the defense of our country and the court system. Imagine how much better off we would be if we had control of our money and could use it as we pleased? Americans are a very generous people who are capable of taking care of themselves and those who need help. We do it every day despite the government and the taxes we pay for ridiculous causes.
