The question implies that despite being in a very ‘dark place’, when life seems too grim to bare, life continues, pain subside and hope, support and confidence in the unknown possibilities and opportunities around the next corner, gradually ‘heals’ you. Pain, bereavement, tragedy and disappointments are part of the challenge of living but can sometimes get the better of us. Knowing that most of us are, or have been, struggling with the life or death choice scenario but come through, is in itself an enlightening thought that can hopefully act as a positive force towards a change and even contentment with our lives.
