There are four primary motivations in all of us. We generally pick one as our main theme in life. For a few it is winning, no matter what. For many it is comfort. Most people live to be liked and dauguy is most likely a commitment to being right.

Those with more money always pay more taxes. The problem is a tax on production and income. A progressive sales/vat tax is fair. Zero on essentials... basic food and clothing. The higher the price, the more likely the rich will purchase the higher the tax. Place a 50% tax on BMW's, Audi. Taxing income violates the original intent of the US constitution. The income tax was passed based on paying for WW1 and it was only going to be 1% of every dollar over 1 million you earned. I can go along with that. Now they take 10% as SSN/Medicare and you can't even deduct it while if you do get SSN income they tax it again!?!
US taxes are going to go up.
