I don't see it that way. O'Reilly and Limbaugh are basically giving marching orders and talking points for their political vision. While in the Dems circumstance they are using entertainers as a draw to fund raising events. On the Dems side there is mild amusement a slight ridicule for the opinions of entertainers in politics.
oh and by the way what does employing entertainer as a fundraising technique have to do with being lead around the nose by people like Rash Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly?
yes obama has spent more than bush did but most of bushes uncontrolled spending was at his own discretion, i.e. the war in iraq. based on historical evidence during other financial crisis' world wide the stimulus spend should be beneficial and allow us to shorten the duration of recovery dramatically. that doesn't mean it will but that the best evidence we have recommends this course of action.
frankly i agree with the idea that we are spending too much except that how do you stop spending and recover quickly from this financial crisis.
