i dont think texting should be allowed in class unless given permission by the teacher and they should be allowed in lunch and during passing period. you get in trouble even if you want to take a picture of something and its with your phone, not a camera. the rules and punishments are too strict for cell phone use in school. i got the same punishment as someone ditching school to go to mcdonalds and someone who was caught with cigarettes on them. its a lil ridiculous.
