Doesn't take a majority to prevail - just an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in minds of men.

Relentlesness seems to be a successful trait these days. Eventually the respose seems to always end up being, "Fine, just shut up".

It's like a child begging for a candy bar in the checkout line. Eventually the parent just gives in for some peace.
